Have you ever dreamed of hiking in Western Sichuan in autumn and feeling the beautiful intertwining of golden leaves and towering snow-capped mountains? Or, have you ever imagined in your mind the scene of leisurely drinking tea and admiring flowers in an ancient town in Yunnan? Today, we will embark on such a journey full of expectations, share our luggage list and expectations, and invite you to share your travel dreams.
We are about to board a plane to Chengdu at 07:20 pm. Unlike our backpacking trip four years ago, this time we switched to carry-on luggage in hopes of making it easier to move around during the trip. In the box, in addition to underwear, short-sleeves, autumn base clothes, down jackets and coats, I also specially prepared a set of pajamas to ensure a comfortable sleep every night.
Of course, in addition to clothing, we also had a lot of outdoor and filming equipment in our luggage. From action cameras, drones to mirrorless cameras, to two computers, screen lights and other office equipment, these are all important tools for us to record our journeys and share our stories. What makes me most proud is our carefully selected outdoor equipment - lightweight jackets and pants, folding trekking poles, kneepads, etc., which will accompany us to conquer those mountains, lakes and seas.
What I’m most looking forward to about this trip is undoubtedly the mountain climbing. Whenever I stand on the top of the snow-capped mountains and overlook the rolling mountains and vast land, I feel an inexplicable excitement and shock. Even though traveling has become our daily routine, every time we set out, it’s like opening a new window, allowing me to see a wider world.
And Sichuan and Yunnan, these two charming provinces, fill me with even more expectations. I want to see the leisure and prosperity of Chengdu, and feel the splendor and magnificence of autumn in western Sichuan; I also want to sit down quietly in an ancient town in Yunnan, sip a cup of tea, listen to a piece of music, and enjoy the rare Peace and ease.
Everyone has a travel dream of their own. Maybe you are eager to let yourself go on the grasslands of Tibet, maybe you are looking forward to finding a fairy-tale wooden house in the forests of Northern Europe, or maybe you just want to spend a leisurely weekend in a small town not far from home. No matter what your dream is, I hope you can take that step bravely and realize it.
Finally, we look forward to reading your stories and dreams in the comments section. Tell us where you most want to go? Why is it so important to you? Maybe, next time we travel, we can go there together.
Travel is not only a physical movement, but also a spiritual voyage. It allows us to see different scenery, experience different cultures, and also allows us to understand ourselves better. In this world full of changes, let us look for those beautiful moments that belong to us together!
