Hello everyone, today I want to share a story with you. This is my personal experience in media creation for a month. Maybe you will be surprised, how could a technical tycoon who was once deeply involved in coding suddenly transform into self-media? Don't worry, let me explain slowly.
A month ago, I embarked on this new path. At that time, I started my self-media journey on two platforms. Although my income was not high, only 8,000 yuan, for me, this was a brand new experience and challenge. Some people may say that this amount of income is simply a waste for a technician like me. But I want to say that I am actually "making money". Because what I gain is not only money, but also a sense of accomplishment and expectations for the future.
During this process, some people speculated that I would definitely sell courses and cut leeks. But I want to tell you clearly that I don’t sell courses, and I won’t sell courses even if I die. So, how did I transform? Don't worry, let me explain in detail.
On July 29, I wrote this paragraph in my diary: "I miss that time very much. Many ideas were born every day. Sometimes I was so excited at night that I couldn't sleep. I got up to write technical ideas, record, edit, and write every day. Very motivated." This paragraph describes the time when I was the game zone account "Game Nomad". Although that account did not achieve great success, it made me deeply feel the joy of creation.
So, I started thinking, what is the purpose of making videos? Is it to make money? Of course not. It’s about making friends and finding like-minded people to explore greater possibilities with. Therefore, I named my self-media account "Digital Nomad" and launched the "Jiang Taigong Fishing Plan", hoping to make more friends and partners through this platform.
In my daily work, I am mainly responsible for writing code. But this does not fully demonstrate my understanding of products, users, data, and human nature. Therefore, I chose video as a simple and quick way to express my thoughts. Every video and every article is carefully designed by me, with the purpose of bringing valuable content to the audience.
After determining the motivation and direction, I quickly started new creations. I decided not to make game-related content, but to transition into chatting videos. As for the reason, it’s a secret when it comes to my operational ideas! You can guess in the comment area.
On July 31st, I recorded the first chat video. Since then, I have devoted myself to self-media creation out of control. A month passed quickly, and today is here in the blink of an eye. In this process, I gained a lot and made many new friends. Thank you all for your company and support this month!
