Have you ever had a moment like this, standing at a crossroads in life, thinking about what you really want? At the age of 25, I have chosen to live the way I want. This is a path full of challenges but full of meaning.
I remember that more than a year ago, I was still an ordinary office worker, repeating the cycle of going to work, getting off work, and working overtime every day. At that time, I was always eager to escape from this restricted life and pursue my true dreams. So, I began to learn programming, design, and have a deeper understanding of product planning. I hope that one day I can escape the office and work somewhere I like.
Fortunately, my efforts were not in vain. I successfully transitioned into a digital nomad working remotely and began a life of traveling and working at the same time. I can travel around the world and no longer need to be squeezed into the traffic and passing carriages at work, and I no longer need to be pushed into the office by elevators and escalators. This kind of life makes me feel unprecedented freedom and happiness.
After becoming a digital nomad, I started trying to do self-media. I share my story and experiences in the hope that it can inspire and help others who have the same dream. In the past five months, I have unexpectedly gained the love and support of more than 10,000 friends. This makes me even more convinced that as long as I keep doing what I like, I will be able to find my own stage.
Through self-media, I reviewed my life and found the things I wanted to do but hadn’t done yet. I started to implement these plans and slowly developed the habit of self-discipline. This kind of self-discipline not only makes me more efficient at work, but also makes me more fulfilling and satisfied in life.
Recently, I started my own entrepreneurial journey. I choose to be a video cross-border e-commerce company, hoping that through my own efforts, I can introduce more excellent products to more people. I learned how to photograph merchandise, do market research, and think about how to attract more customers. Although this process is tiring, I enjoy the challenge and fun.
A friend asked me, isn’t it tiring to start a business while working? In fact, I am definitely tired, but this is also how I like it. I don't want to just work for a living, but I want to work hard for my dreams and passion. After all, life is only a few autumns, and you don’t need to be vigorous, but you have to live how you like.
Looking back on my growth process, I deeply feel that only by adhering to your dreams and passions can you truly live the way you like. Whether from being a social worker to a digital nomad, or from self-media to entrepreneurship, I have been pursuing my dreams and passions.
