Have you ever dreamed of embarking on an unknown journey and exploring every corner of the world with just a backpack? Tonight, I start my Southeast Asia trip, armed with a backpack, ready to experience an unprecedented adventure over the course of three months.
Packing is an important ritual before traveling. It’s not just about packing items into a backpack, it’s about filtering and streamlining your life. In the process, I realized that what I really need is not much. Clothes, daily necessities, electronic products...every item is carefully selected by me to ensure that they are practical and lightweight.
Before I decided to go, I went through a long period of thinking. Why should I leave the familiar life and embark on this unknown journey? Is it because of the longing for the distance, or because of dissatisfaction with the status quo? Perhaps, it is more of an exploration and challenge of oneself. I wanted to see if I could find my true self when I left my comfort zone.
I made a lot of preparations for this trip. I studied various aspects of Southeast Asia’s culture, climate, transportation, etc. to ensure that I could successfully handle various situations during my trip. At the same time, I also tested whether my preparation was sufficient through practice. During my short stay in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, I felt the charm of Southeast Asia and strengthened my determination to set out.
After arriving in Bali, I started my journey of exploration. The beautiful scenery, food and humanities here all make me linger. It took me a few days to get used to the rhythm of life here, and then I started working on some editing and video production. At the same time, I also made some new friends who came from different countries and regions and shared their travel stories and experiences.
After spending some time in Bali, I will continue my Southeast Asia trip. I plan to travel to more countries and cities to experience different cultures and customs. I believe that this journey will be an unforgettable experience in my life. It will allow me to understand the world more deeply and make me cherish my life more.
One backpack, three months of adventure. This is not only a trip, but also a challenge and transcendence of oneself. I believe that as long as we have the courage to take that step, the world will show infinite possibilities in front of us. Let’s take a backpack and embark on our own adventure!
