Have you ever sacrificed your life for your job? Have you lost your passion for work due to heavy tasks and pressure? Today, I want to talk to you about the real reasons why we escaped from 996, and how to find a job we truly love while pursuing freedom.
I remember meeting a digital nomad from the UK before. He told me that he chose to be an entrepreneurial coach to help founders of start-up companies sell their products. I'm curious, why did he choose such a career? He told me that he previously worked as a manager in a top global sales organization and had 10 years of experience. However, he found that he did not like the responsibilities and pressures brought by management and teams. He yearned more for freedom and independence. Therefore, he chose to be an entrepreneurial coach to maximize his professional knowledge while maintaining flexibility in work and life.
I was inspired by the experience of this British digital nomad. We escape from 996 not to go to another 007, but to find our true freedom and love. We don’t want to be tied down by work, but want to be able to find a balance between work and life and enjoy every moment.
In the process of pursuing freedom and love, we need to always remember our original intentions. Is it for more freedom or for the realization of self-worth? Is it to have a sense of control over life and work, or to spend more time with family, friends, and develop your own hobbies? Only by remembering the original intention can we not lose our way on the road to entrepreneurship and not be tempted by money and interests.
I want to remind everyone that starting a business is not an easy thing. Once we are pushed along by our own systems, it is easy to get stuck in another work machine, running like a hamster forever with no end in sight. Therefore, we need to stay awake at all times and keep asking ourselves: Is this what I really want? Do I still love this job?

Especially for those of us who are digital nomads, although working online brings convenience and flexibility, it can also easily make us ignore real life. We need to pay more attention to the family, friends, pets and hobbies around us, because they are also an important part of our lives.
In the process of pursuing freedom and love, we need to maintain our love and curiosity about life. Try new things, make new friends, travel, explore, and learn new knowledge. These experiences can not only make us more fulfilled and satisfied, but also bring new inspiration and motivation to our work and entrepreneurship.
