Home in Shanghai, choice before departure again
Hello, dear friends! Today, I want to take you into a special place - our home in Shanghai. Yes, we recently returned to this bustling city, but this time we were faced with an important decision: Should we rent out this home full of memories?
First of all, let us walk into this warm harbor together. As soon as you enter the door, you will see the spacious living room. Here are various Xiaoding’s figurines, as well as our favorite books and souvenirs brought back from South America. They quietly tell stories of our past and bear witness to our shared time.
Next, please follow me to our bedroom. This room is my favorite place. Whenever the afternoon sunshine shines in, I will sit on the small sofa and enjoy the tranquility and warmth. On the bedside table are books that I am interested in recently. We will try to avoid bringing mobile phones into the bedroom at night and choose to read to relax.
Further forward is our small room. Although it is small, it has all the necessary features. There are bookcases placed on the tatami, filled with professional books and topics that interest us. This is both our study room and Xiao Ding’s desk. We spent many quiet afternoons here discussing and learning together.
Now, let's go up to the second floor. This is the comic corner I carefully built. I originally planned to fill it with my favorite comics, but due to traveling abroad, this plan was temporarily shelved. Despite this, this place is still a pure land in my heart, carrying my dreams and memories.
However, as our sojourn continued, the home began to feel a little empty. We started wondering if we should rent it out to get some extra income. But at the same time, we are worried that tenants will destroy the warmth and beauty of this home. After all, this home has special meaning to us and has seen us grow and change.
We would like to hear your suggestions before making this decision. Do you have any experience renting out properties? Are there any good tips or tricks you can share with us? We hope this home can maintain its original beauty and warmth while also bringing us some extra income.
