Hello everyone, my name is Lin An. Friends who follow me know that I started my entrepreneurial journey this year. Today, let’s talk in detail about my entrepreneurial project - Free Living Room.
It was launched in Shanghai in July 2020, initially organizing offline gatherings for freelancers. After many activities, the response was overwhelming. These freelancers crave unimaginable networking opportunities and they desperately need to meet like-minded people. Taking this opportunity, I decided to continue hosting this event.
At that time, I was in the transition bottleneck period of almost three years of freelancing, and I was a little confused and anxious. But after each event, the participants gave enthusiastic encouragement and positive feedback, such as "Aunt Lin An, you must continue to hold this event, it is so meaningful." "This is the highest quality event I have participated in since I came to Shanghai." "Activity" gave me great encouragement, convinced me of the value of this matter, and strengthened my determination to continue doing it.
The impact of the incident gradually expanded. Since the fourth event, friends from Chengdu, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Beijing and other places have specially come to participate. Not only did they praise the event, they also took the initiative to ask if it could be held in their own city and offered to help contact the venue. With everyone's joint efforts, by December 2020, free meeting rooms have rapidly expanded from Shanghai to six cities: Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Wuhan. During this period, many friends from out of town sent private messages online, hoping to hold events locally.
After 2021, we started a new direction. On the one hand, many guests are invited to share and live broadcast on the Free Living Room network platform every week; on the other hand, based on a large amount of market research, I found that many people want to change careers and do freelance work or side jobs, but online packaging and positioning online marketing There are deficiencies in this regard, making it difficult for more people to accept and understand offline skills and services. Therefore, at the end of last year, I launched the Freelancer Personal IP Incubation Camp for career transitioners and new freelancers.
In the future, in addition to personal IP projects, Free Living Room Online will also develop a series of knowledge and skills courses, live broadcasts, and hold offline salons for professionals who want to transform, people who pursue freelance career development, and people who want to transform. After freelancing for many years, I want to start a business. and sharing sessions. At the same time, we will organize social activities regularly so that everyone can get to know and connect with each other on the platform and in the community, and no longer be alone on the road to exploring freedom.
In short, Free Living Room is a comprehensive growth platform that helps young people in the new era achieve career freedom. Freelancers, slash youth, office workers exploring side jobs, and asset-light entrepreneurs gather here to connect with each other, discover talents together, and explore a borderless life.
In March, as the first month of free living room business, we have arranged a variety of activities. Online, there is a live broadcast every week. The first week focuses on brand design, teaching friends who want to establish a personal studio, brand or start-up company how to enhance the overall image through brand design; the second week discusses time and energy management to help freelancers, entrepreneurs and side businesses In the third week, we will explain how to operate a paid community and guide you to manage fans and users; in the fourth week, we will provide an introductory short video tutorial to teach you how to shoot a simple VLOG from scratch.
Offline, Beijing will hold offline salon activities with different themes every weekday evening, and Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen will also hold social salons simultaneously. At the same time, I will teach the second phase of the freelance personal IP incubation camp in the Free Living Room. At present, almost all students have been enrolled. The teaching scale is small and in-depth, with only ten people enrolled in each session. After the end of March, the third round of recruitment in April will continue to open places.
