A few days ago, I received a consultation from a sister. She works in a foreign company in Shanghai and is troubled by heavy work and office struggles every day. She told me that she felt as if she was stuck in an endless cycle, and even another year was just improving her ability to cope with these chores instead of actually pursuing her dreams. Her confusion and struggle made me think: How can we find a balance between work and dreams?
When we are exhausted in the workplace, have we ever stopped to think: Is this really the life I want? Do we choose a comfortable comfort zone because we are afraid of the unknown? My sister told me that she saw the wider world and saw people doing what they loved and working hard at it. She longs to pursue a freer life, but is worried about how everything will turn out once she takes that step.
However, as I told her, traditional career advancement is not the only answer. When we start to think about more possibilities, start to find the true inner voice, and take action for it, we are already halfway to success. Because she already possesses a very important quality - the pursuit of dreams and persistence in action.
Many people have all kinds of ideas and dreams, but few actually put them into practice. A friend of mine told me three months ago that he was going to start an online business and shared his business plan. I applauded his creativity and courage, but three months later, when I asked him about his progress, he told me he hadn't started yet. Because he is worried about failure and that his plan is not perfect.
This kind of worry and procrastination causes many people to miss the opportunity to realize their dreams. But we must understand that no plan is perfect and no success is achieved overnight. The important thing is that we dare to take that step, dare to try and practice. Only in this way can we truly transform our ideas into reality and realize our dreams.
A lot of people say, "When I'm ready, I'll do it." But I'm telling you this: you're never completely ready. Because changes and challenges in life are always unpredictable. However, when we take that step bravely, we will find that we actually already have many necessary abilities and resources. We will learn and grow through practice, constantly improve our plans, and ultimately achieve success.
So, if you too have a dream, have an idea, don't wait for the perfect time. Because now is the best time. Take action now! Because as long as you take this step, you are already on the starting line of success.
Looking back on my sisters and my friends’ experiences, I’m struck by the importance of action. Only when we really start taking action can we realize our dreams and move towards a better life. So, no matter what stage you are at now, no matter what challenges and difficulties you face, never give up pursuing your dreams. Believe in yourself and the power of action. You can definitely succeed!
