Dali, my second hometown: Half-month sojourn experience

Have you ever dreamed of escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and finding a spiritual haven? Today, I want to share with you my sojourn life in Dali, a place that makes me regret not arriving earlier.

Half a month ago, I embarked on a journey to Dali with a longing for the unknown. Dali, this place known as the "city of romance, flowers, snow and moon", attracts me with its unique charm. The moment I arrived in Dali, I seemed to have entered a whole new world. Everything here made me feel novel and excited.

Morning in Dali starts with a bowl of hot thin soybean powder. This seemingly ordinary breakfast contains the Dali people’s love for life. Chili, pepper oil, peanuts... these seemingly simple ingredients give off an alluring aroma after being stirred. In the Yunnan wet market, I found many things I had never seen before, and each one surprised me.

Our little home in Dali is located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, where the environment is beautiful and the air is fresh. Although the house is not big, it is fully equipped. What's more, we have an independent kitchen where we can prepare various delicacies by ourselves. Here, we drink mountain spring water and breathe fresh air, as if we are integrated with nature.

The pace of life in Dali is very slow, and people pay more attention to enjoying life. Here, you can see many interesting activities and communities, and it is easy to make new friends. We once went to a restaurant that focused on sustainable health. The ingredients there were all sourced from the surrounding ecological farms. They tasted delicious and left people with endless aftertaste.

In addition to delicious food and beautiful scenery, Dali also has rich cultural activities. We once went to a street dance show performed by a dance artist who had lost his legs. His performance was full of power and passion, which made me feel the tenacity and beauty of life.

During our time in Dali, we experienced different lifestyles and felt different cultural atmospheres. The people here are warm and hospitable, making us feel like home. And our traveling life has become more colorful because of these beautiful moments.

Looking back on my half-month sojourn, I feel deeply glad that I chose Dali. The beautiful scenery, food, and humanities here all left a deep impression on me. I believe that in the days to come, I will continue to record and share my life in Dali so that more people can feel the charm of this place.

Finally, I would like to say that Dali is not only a tourist attraction, but also a place where people’s soul can be baptized. If you are also eager to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find a spiritual haven, then you may wish to come to Dali! I believe you will fall in love with this beautiful place just like me.
