Have you ever had such an experience? I have a dream and a goal in my heart, but I am always hesitant for various reasons, worried about whether I am ready and perfect enough. However, as the old saying goes: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Today, I would like to share with you a story about "the power of action", hoping to bring you some inspiration.
I remember that day, I accidentally clicked on a video on station B. In the video, a YouTuber named Patrick Jongshi is surfing on a beach in Europe. He read aloud a passage in Spanish, and I was learning the language. This passage touched me deeply, it said: "Some people make the decision that the most important part of doing something is doing it, not preparing you for it."
At that moment, I seemed to see my inner struggle. I spent a whole year preparing to hit the road, but I always felt like there was something I wasn’t ready for. However, Patrick’s words taught me something: Never feel completely ready, because action itself is preparation.
In the video, Patrick read the passage in Spanish. Although my Spanish level is limited, I tried hard to understand every word and feel the emotion. This effort made me realize that language is just a tool, and the real obstacles often come from our hearts.
