When the triviality and busyness of life make us feel depressed, sometimes we need a quick trip to find places where our souls can be baptized. For me, Tiger Leaping Gorge is such a place. Ten years ago, I had an encounter with it. Ten years later, when I set foot on this land again, I was still shocked by its beauty and magnificence.
I remember that ten years ago, my wife and I came to Tiger Leaping Gorge for the first time. At that time, we were full of longing and curiosity about the unknown hiking route. Ten years later, when we stood at the starting point of Naxi Accord again, what filled our hearts was not only nostalgia for the past, but also expectations for the future. Tiger Leaping Gorge, a place known as one of the top ten hiking routes in the world, what kind of charm does it have that makes us fall in love with it again and again?
The hiking route in Tiger Leaping Gorge is full of thrills and excitement. With steep cliffs on both sides and the rushing Jinsha River at your feet, you need to be careful every step you take. However, it is this environment that makes us cherish the beautiful scenery in front of us even more. Along the way, we enjoyed the magnificence of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the turbulence of the Jinsha River, and the unique scenery scattered in the valley. Everywhere makes us linger, as if we are in a huge picture.
During our hike in Tiger Leaping Gorge, we also met backpackers from all over the world. Some of them are alone, some are traveling together, but they all have a common goal - to find their own freedom and happiness. On the walls of restaurants and inns, we see various messages and graffiti left by them, which seem to tell their stories and feelings. This atmosphere made me feel very friendly and warm, and it also strengthened my determination to continue hiking.
At night in Tiger Leaping Gorge, we stayed in a B&B facing the snow-capped mountains. At night, we lay in bed, listening to the chirping of insects and the sound of wind outside the window, and when we raised our heads, we could see the sky full of stars. The peace and serenity made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. In the early morning, when the first ray of sunshine shone on the top of the mountain, we couldn't wait to go to the rooftop to enjoy the magnificent sunshine on Jinshan. At that moment, I felt the greatness and magic of nature, and I cherished the beauty in front of me even more.
Although this is my second time coming to Tiger Leaping Gorge, every experience is brand new. Tiger Leaping Gorge is more beautiful and quiet in winter, with bluer water, bluer sky and brighter sunshine. Here, I felt the magic and power of nature, and also experienced the joy and freedom brought by hiking. I want to tell everyone who loves life and travel: Tiger Leaping Gorge is worth visiting again and again!
