RUAJPL's success did not happen overnight. His two most successful projects, the DNS lookup tool and the ISP checker, had 250,000 monthly unique user visits, but they were not enough to make a living when he decided to go full-time. So what made him decide to quit his job and pursue these projects full-time?
“Entrepreneurship has always interested me,” RUAJPL said. As early as ten years old, he ran a school tabloid with his friends. Although his income was minimal at the time, this experience gave him a strong interest in running websites. During high school and college, he tried many passion projects, but most of them fell flat.
However, RUAJPL did not give up. He realized that if he wanted to make a living at it, he had to pick one thing and stick with it. As a result, he began to evaluate his project ideas and finally chose Internet gadgets as his entrepreneurial direction.
In the process of starting a business, RUAJPL encountered many challenges. His first prototype was too complex and was swamped by technical problems before it was even released. Undeterred, he started from scratch and made a new version using simpler techniques. He took a lot of shortcuts to get the game into production as quickly as possible, but it ended up taking months to perfect.
