Have you ever thought that an app you developed could get a place on the App Store in just two days? This may sound like a fantasy, but just recently, something like this actually happened to me.
When I opened the Apple Store and saw that the app I developed independently was ranked 11th after only two days of promotion, I couldn't believe my eyes. You know, the apps ahead of me are all those “magic-level” apps! And I, a fledgling independent developer, can actually be among them?
It all started when I decided to develop an app independently. I chose an area that I was familiar with as a starting point and poured the innovation and development knowledge I learned into this project. After more than a month of hard work, the MVP (minimum viable product) version is finally completed. Immediately afterwards, I began intensive promotion work.
However, I never imagined that my app could achieve such results in such a short period of time. Is the promotion method appropriate, or am I just unlucky? Maybe a bit of both! But no matter what, the joy and sense of accomplishment are indescribable.
In this process, I deeply realized the hardship and fun of independent development. From demand analysis, design, development to testing and promotion, every step is full of challenges. But it is these challenges that make me continue to grow and make me cherish this hard-won achievement even more.
Now, I am still busy with small iterations and promotion of the App. Every update and optimization is to bring a better experience to users. At the same time, I am also very grateful to the friends who have given me support and encouragement along the way. It is your support that allows me to see the light on the road to independent development, and also strengthens my belief in continuing to move forward.
Looking back on this experience, I want to say: As long as you have dreams and perseverance, nothing is impossible. I hope my story can bring you some inspiration and encouragement. So, what will be your next app project? I look forward to seeing your works alongside mine on the App Store rankings!
